Parallax Lite Linx System Architectural Specifications
** NOTE TO SPECIFIER ** Select the Parallax Linx System for full swing door package requirements. For 2-way traffic applications, an additional Eagle motion sensor is required at the swing side, beyond the swing-path of the door. The industry safety standard discourages this application. Additional requirements, not sensor related, may also be required.
Parallax Linx System: System utilizes microwave technology
and infrared technology as follows.
a. Parallax II Lite Linx- Double Swing
b. Eagle planar K-Band microwave motion detector with adjustable vertical (0 to 90 degrees) and horizontal (30 degrees L/R angle), and detection capability down to 2.2 inches (56 mm) per second.
c. Bodyguard header-mounted active infrared presence sensor that has a dual pattern ability (open position and closed position) and is capable
to detect stationary humans on the swing side of the door and in the threshold area, for a minimum of 30 seconds.
d (2) SuperScan II focused active infrared sensors are mounted at the top of each door and at the swing side, and shall be fully immune to
background influences. Each SuperScan contains two independently adjustable detection modules.
e. All sensors within the system shall wire into a central micro-processed hub that provides data for proper safety system operation.
f. Lockout Device: LO Linx integrates all door sensors and provides intelligent synchronization, positioning and operation. Includes quick
disconnects for sensors with push button setting adjustments and LCD display. Housing, polycarbonate, red translucent 5.2 inches (133 mm)
wide by 2.2 inches (55 mm) deep by 1 inch (25 mm) high.
