BEA’s MCLinx Sensor Module Combines Multiple Functions
Pittsburgh, Pa. (January 10, 2006) –The multiple functions needed to program door opening sequences often mean purchasing and installing several products.
BEA’s MCLinx sensor modules, MCLinx 1 and 2, combine multiple functions into single controls, making it easier than ever to program automatic door sequences.
The MCLinx 1 and 2 combine the functions of eight separate units into two, making it easy to select the proper unit for a given application. The functions of the MCLinx 1 include time delay, latching relay, delay module, wet input module, and sensor inhibitor. The functions of the MCLinx 2 include interlock, sequencer, and wet input module.
Both modules have identical features that make installation and maintenance precise, quick, and convenient, including removable screw type terminals for inputs and outputs. In addition, all programming for the units is done via two push buttons; no jumpers are required, and a user-friendly LCD display provides diagnostics and function identification. Unlike traditional sensors, the MCLinx 1 and 2 combine wet and dry input capabilities into single modules.
