At BEA Americas, our team is inspired and empowered to provide advanced sensor solutions which help to grow a safe and convenient automated world. BEA is a world leader in developing sensors for the safety and activation of automated systems including pedestrian and industrial automatic doors, vehicle gates and barriers, transportation systems, security access control, and retail sensing applications.

Founded in Liege, Belgium in 1965, BEA has pioneered advances in sensing solutions for the automatic entrance market for more than 50 years and maintains a global presence today through its established group of regional operating companies. BEA Americas was founded in 1987 and serves an international customer base across North and South America from its US headquarters located in Pittsburgh, PA.

BEA Group is a subsidiary of Halma plc, a global group of life-saving technology companies that makes products for hazard detection and life protection dedicated to growing a safer, cleaner, and healthier future for everyone, everywhere. Halma plc is traded on the London Stock Exchange (LSE: HLMA) and is a constituent of the FTSE 100 Index.
