Matt Veres – Director of Finance
Matt Veres is the Director of Finance of BEA’s Americas division and oversees the operations within the Finance, IT and Legal departments at BEA Inc. He is a member of the Americas executive management team. Matt also is the key executive ensuring fiscal compliance with BEA Corporate and Halma PLC, working closely with counterparts in BEA’s European Finance Division. Prior to becoming Director of Finance, Matt held the title of Controller from March 2009. Matt earned a Mathematics degree from Slippery Rock University and has been working in the field of Accounting throughout his career.
Tim Chiappetta - Director of Sales
Tim Chiappetta is the Director of Diversification Markets at BEA where he is responsible for Industrial, Transportation, Security and our other emerging, high growth markets. Tim is also uniquely tasked with Global leadership creating new uses for our activation and automation products, and maturation of large, international market verticals. Tim has served as General Manager of BEA’s West Coast Office, and has 10 years of experience in the Industrial door and automation markets. Prior to working with the Diversification Groups at BEA, Tim worked within the Pedestrian market and also spent time working as an Architectural Specification Consultant. Tim has an Undergraduate Degree from Ohio University and a Masters Degree from Duquesne University.
Dan Olshansky – Director of Operations
Dan Olshansky is the Director of Operations of BEA and oversees BEA’s operational functions of purchasing, inventory management, production, warehousing and shipping. Additionally, Dan works with BEA’s global purchasing and supply chain teams to help implement BEA’s global strategies and process improvements. Dan started with BEA in 2001 as BEA’s inventory manager, a position he held until 2006. Dan holds a degree in Mathematics Education from Pennsylvania State University and has completed Halma’s HMDP program.
Malinda Hallett – Director of Human Resources
Malinda Hallett, SPHR, CPLP, is the Director of Human Resources of BEA’s Americas division and is responsible for talent management and strategic human resources initiatives. Prior to this role, Malinda served as the Vice President of Human Resources for The Art Institute of Pittsburgh and Benefits Manager for General Nutrition, Inc. Malinda holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Business from Albright College and a Master of Science degree in Human Resources Management from LaRoche College.
Mike Straub – Director of Engineering
Mike Straub is the Director of Engineering of BEA’s Americas Division, overseeing the Engineering and Quality functions. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Mike has extensive experience managing and developing systems involving sensor technologies, automation, controls, electronics and software. Mike’s background also includes experience in electronics manufacturing, Six Sigma, and kaizen methodologies.
